Disappearance of Guy Ligier,
sadness and emotion for the Classic Days

On hearing this sad news though, we immediately picture a monument of international motorsport disappearing. This monument, we will cultivate more memory, so that no one forgets the immense contributions of this man for his sport, for its region and for France.

But it is for us a much greater emotion, for Guy was a friend of the Classic Days. The first day of the project, up to yesterday, Guy has always been very supportive and provided to Classic Days. Enlightening, correcting, guiding our direction of his experience. In 2010, he made us accept the friendship modest tribute we wanted to make it.

This strong support, we have been especially rich and greatly affected. We will always be grateful to this colorful character, multifaceted and outspoken legendary. Some will say that a page is turning definitively, but we prefer to consider it as eternally open and cultivate the memory. It is only the end point of this magnificent history while blue white and red.

Our thoughts are with his family, his friends, his Tico, his Jacques ...

To Mr. Ligier, to Guy.
